Creating chemical cold and hot packs demonstrates thermal energy conversions associated with chemical change. Learn how to exploit these changes with your students using a middle school physical science lesson structured as an inquiry,  project-based learning performance task. This lesson also integrates Common Core Math and ELA standards.
