About Dean Gilbert

Dean Gilbert is a long-time advocate for STEM education and has played an active roll in the the development, adoption and now implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards. He has travelled all over the state helping to train teachers on how to read and implement the new standards. 

Mr. Gilbert is also very active in the California Science Teachers Association, serving as a region director and past president; and writing numerous articles for the organization's magazine and website.
