Key to successful STEM implementation is student proficiency in the engineering practices which includes solving problems and constructing models. The engineering standards for the NGSS call for optimizing and reiterations of plan, test, and redesign which is an essential part of the DIVE in Engineering program.

About Heather Wilde
Heather is the Western Regional Training Manager for Accelerate Learning Inc.She earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University and is a native Houstonian. Heather taught science to elementary students as a classroom teacher and campus coordinator for ten years. She now has the privilege of travelling across the United States working with teachers and administrators in STEMscopes as well as leading STEMcoach trainers in implementation training. Whenever she gets a chance, Heather loves to escape to the lake in East Texas and relax by the water.
