Picture

Competitive robotics is a hands on, problem solving, teamwork building, experience that teaches students time management, communication, the design process, coding, and all of the rest of the 21st Century skills students need to be successful in the STEM fields.  The Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation exists to bring this exciting experience to students all over the globe through the VEX IQ Challenge. This challenge provides elementary and middle school students with exciting, open-ended robotics and research project challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. The teachers will have an opportunity to work on a quick build on the VEX IQ robot platform and learn about the competition program along with the online curriculum, and resources available to teachers interested in robotics.
